George's Funeral Service will take place at St Mary's Church, Aylburton on Monday 27th November at 11.00am followed by a private family committal.

The funeral service took place at St Mary’s Church, Aylburton  on Monday 27^th November 2023 at 11.00 a.m., with Canon Mike Kippax officiating. The music on entry to the church was a recording of Pachabel "Canon in D". The hymns were “All things bright and beautiful” and “The Lord’s My Shepherd” accompanied by the organist Mr Chris Day. The Bible reading was Ecclesiastes chapter 3, verses 1-12 and was read by Rev Tony Jones. The recessional music was “Down Town” a recording by Petula Clark.

The service was followed by a private family committal at The Forest of Dean Crematorium.

 The arrangements were carried out by Gordon Blake Funeral Director, Autumn Leaves Funeral Home, Albert Street, Lydney, Glos., GL15 5LU.
